I Love Dr. O, he is funny, smart, and nice. The material is a bit boring, and there is a ton of memorization for this course. His questions are also extremely difficult, he has a talent for making complex question, when doing his exam look and think of every detail you can because it is important. Anything on his notes is TESTABLE!!!!!

Amazing in class and so great at making things interesting BUT before the midterm, said that we'd be fine and it wouldn't be too hard and the practice test was so easy but the actual thing had impossible questions from his section. Same as the final- it was decent except for his acid base part. Comparatively easier in class as opposed to on tests

Such a fun prof. It takes a lot of effort to make fairly boring material into fun lectures, but he does a really great job of keeping everyone involved and awake. He's very clear, but I find he follows his slides extremely closely, and doesn't add much to them, which would make lectures painful if it weren't for his enthusiasm. Excellent prof.

Fantastic prof! I was originally in Donal McCartney's section but I switched over to Oleschuk's after attending one class. He is so enthusiastic, keeps the class engaged and teaches the material clearly. Love his hockey stick pointer!

Watch out for his hockey stick pointer. He is a great communicator and makes the dry material interesting with stories of chemical applications of analytical chemistry. He is a GREAT prof.

Cool prof. Mildly interesting subject. (Lowest mark I've ever gotten at Queen's, though it looks like this semester will be worse.)

An essay handed in to Oleschuk one year is 80% while handing the SAME essay in this year was 70%. How's that for consistency?
