This is an easy A class if you go to lectures. Reading the textbook isn't really necessary, but it's actually pretty interesting and will help you. Lectures are a bit dry but the content is interesting. Exams cover exactly what Dr. Robins says they will cover on the exam review day/study guide! Whole class is midterm/paper/final. Nice prof.

The class was taught by both the professor and PhD. student. Both were very phenomenal at lecturing. Content is very interesting. Learned a lot of new things about personality, not just that but also SCIENTIFICALLY. Exams are tough and tricky. 1 term paper which they were lenient on and the 2 exams. Not bad for an upper div.

his class is kinda monotonic. he only has 2 exams and one paper on personality psychology. each exam only have 45 MCQs so its kinda hard to score big on the eams as he only tested us with only that. we could also gain 4 extra credit by participating in studies.

This class was dreading because the TAs were really harsh graders. There are only 2 exams and a huge paper the exams are half multiple choice and half essay which is not appropriate for the amount of time we have. The teacher is very monotone which is difficult to catch up with but he is a really really caring and understanding person.

Professor Robins is one of the best professors I've had at UCD. His tests are half multiple choice, half essay, and are relatively easy. The 10 page paper is a bit of work, but definitely well worth it. It completely helps with learning the information for the final. Great class! Also a total cutie!!

This class is interesting, and the Prof. is clear and pretty laid back. The only downside is that the TA's grade really hard; the essay and test essay questions were really difficult. Both TA's and the Prof. are very helpful during office hours. Attend class, go to office hours, concentrate on notes before an exam, and you should be ok.

Maybe he improved his lecturing style over time but he didn't seem that boring to me. Material is fairly interesting and in most cases rather intuitive. Exams are essay response and not too extensively difficult if you get the main points across. I turned my paper in one day late and still got 95/100.

Lectures are kinda dry, but I wouldn't say the class is super hard. At least he's nice to look at, in that cute intellectual way. The book is actually interesting to read, the author is a character!

The material wasn't as interesting as I would have liked, but I still enjoyed it. You need to know how to apply the concepts to answer the short answer exam questions.

This class is called Personality Theory...you would think that the professor would have a personality. Interesting material if u feel like teaching yourself because it's a waste of life to go to class. I learned more from the TA's reveiw session than the quarter itself.

the only good thing with this class, was that you didn't really have to go since his lectures were posted online and he said them word for word anyway. he was the most monotone professor i have ever had to sit and listen to. my friends and i would discuss suicide while sitting through every lecture.

Relaxed and doesn't mind a few laughs. His TAs are cool, too. They are all supportive and approchable. The material is posted online after each lecture so you don't have to write down his every word and can afford to miss a class or two if needed.
