Great class. Great guy, really cares about his students. A few papers but not a hard grader. You only need the book for the group project and the online quizzes, which are so easy if you use the book, a few multiple choice questions that can easily be found on the book word for word (I used the older edition). Eye-opening class.

Voss is a great guy. Class is almost impossible to NOT get an A in. A lot of papers to write and small out of class activities that he thinks of on the spot. Definitely an easy and enlightening class. Although sometimes he babbles and babbles and you almost wish he would teach something.

Dr. Voss is a great professor! I am a social worker major and he LOVES social work. He is very helpful, and talks a lot about his experiences in the field. I am very glad I took him. Take him, and you will be happy!

I absolutely loved this class!! In my opinion it was one of the best classes I have attended because of the awareness and reality it brings to you personally. He is a great teacher and the material was very interesting. The atmosphere he brings was tremendous........Thanks Dr. Voss!!! You must take this class......Your interest will get you an A!!

Very nice man but never taught any of the course material. Did not learn a thing. D2L test are the only thing that saves you and the fact that his papers are easy & he allows rewrites. Needs to be in DC as a politician/advocate, not in the classroom. Also talks constantly about random stuff he has an interest in and repeats stories.

He is a nice guy. Has clarity issues that make assignments confusing. Quizzes on D2L with multiple attempts. Can change & resubmit papers until you get an A. I was exempt from the Final because of my quiz average. At times, he can put you to sleep. Asks for participation, but often talks so much you don't have a chance. Still, a nice man.

He is disorganized but he makes class very interesting. He is lenient on quizzes and papers. If you miss a few quizzes he will always open them up for you to take on D2L. He is really into advocating and raising awareness to important issues. He gets off topic easily but still a decent teacher.

Very nice person who is always willing to help, however he is very unorganized which make it difficult to keep up with what assignments are due when. Changes dates on assignments often, but is a very fair grader when the assignments are due. He is very into activism and can really inspire you.

Dr. Voss is truely an amazing person and professor. His passion for the Social Work profession definitely adds to your interest in it as well. This class went over just about all professions in Social Welfare which allows you to broaden your interest.Besides it being easy you actually LEARN! HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Voss is a good advisor but not a great teacher. His class is mostly about erickson and freud but everything that is talked about in class you can find in the book. Exams are easy. I like Dr. Voss outside of the classroom setting but inside is a different story.

I didnt find Dr. Voss to be helpful in any way. He was not clear on any of his assignments,which gets very frustrating. I would up with an A, becuse he is an easy grader. I guess if you are willing to spend some extra time after class asking him to clarify everything, he not so bad
