Comment:

In the class the homework is extra credit and quizes are with partners. He asked students to stand up and workout problems then stopped doing that after around a month. The homework was extra credit until around finals which was wierd. The teacher is always asking if students understand what he is writing. The test are not too hard or too easy

This was the second time i had to take the class and im so glad i took Mr. Winn. He is a very good teacher he explains in detail and if you have questions, also there is a lot of hands on. He will makes us go to the board and see your work and help you then and there! anyway you do have to pay attention in order to pass and beware quizzes randomly!

Comment:

Mr. Winn is one of the best teachers I have had during my college career. His lectures are informative and interesting. He encourages students to stay either before or after class and makes you work on some problems on the board so that you can fully understand the material. Mr. Winn is by far, one of the best math teachers I have ever had.

He's epically amazing. He's the best teacher ever, he will literally stay after class with you an hour just so you can practice and get help. WHO DOES THAT? This guy, because he cares about students and their success. Take him, you will NOT be sorry.

Great teacher, He stays an hour before and after class to help if you have any difficulties, completing hw give extra credit on tests. he occasionally gives the whole class extra credit if some one can solve a problem on the board. His test review days features everything on the test so there are no surprises. wants you to pass

He is a good Math teacher. he will go out of his way to help you. On test review days, he will pretty much layout the entire test for you, and he will give you similar problems which will be on the test. HW is considered extra credit, you do not have to do hw if you have no desire to do so. quiz's are group quiz's so you will get a 100% on them.

Professor Winn is the best Math teacher i have ever seen in the USA! Make sure you do your homework. His teaching depends on participation in class which gives students opportunities to practice and understand clearly and to ask about any mysterious question. He also comes in 45 min early if you need help. Such a wonderful Math professor. Take him!

Professor Winn was such a great Math teacher! I'm sad bc he doesn't teach 110. If you are having a hard time wMath he is the man. Make sure you do your hw and he requires A LOT of participation in class. It sucks at first, but it will actually benefit you! He also comes in 45 min early if you need help. Professor Winn is a great guy! At first I didn't like that he wanted you to come up to the board to do problems, but he really is an awesome teacher! He's more than happy to come to class early and stay late if you want to keep doing math problems. GREAT teacher and I hope I can take another class with him in the near future.

Seriously THE best math teacher I have ever had and probably will ever have. He truly cares that you pass and that you understand the material. He goes above and beyond to help you. He also comes to class early so you can go over any questions you may have. He loves participation so be respectful and go to the board when he asks you to.

Excellent teacher, couldn't ask for more. He is so driven to help you understand what's going on, and I would take him again if I could. He even wrote me a letter of recommendation for a scholarship. He always stayed after class as long as students needed him just to make sure that if you wanted help, it was there. If you are anybody, take him.

If you have a chance to take this teacher, TAKE HIM! I wish I had him for higher division classes, but unfortunately he doesn't teach those. He's the best teacher ever, he gets to class early and stays as late as students need him. He doesn't make you do homework, but it's great prep for the test and extra credit for exams. He made it soooo easy.

If your not good at all at math then this professor is for you. He spells it out for you and makes math easy. If you are good at math he will make it a little more challenging for you. He has funny, well rehearsed jokes too. Greatest math teacher of all time! Take his class if you can get a seat.

STAY after every single class! I can not stress how important this is. He is extremely helpful & if you are struggling he WILL help you. Overall he is a pretty good teacher. Grading could be a little more fair, he is easier on the ones that stay after class, if you had a 96% you didnt have to take the final. So ask for help!!!!!!!
