Comment:

She taught me a lot. Not the easiest, but she made me work for a skill that I will use for the rest of my life. It is too bad she retired, but a lot of her students can say she helped them be the best communicators!

At the beginning of the semester I was terrified about public speaking. Dr Graham allayed my fears, and is now one of my all-time favorite instructors. Not only is she highly knowledgeable, but she also cares about each of her students. Unfortunately for you, she's retiring.

She just retired, so beware of whomever else you get for Technical presentations. She is really helpful and actually wants her students to succeed in the 3 speeches she assigns. Grading criteria is very clear. Quizzes are on webcourses once every two weeks. She gives really useful feedback and helps you out if you actually put in work

Fantastic professor. If you're anxious about needing to take speech because you're afraid of public speaking take Graham. Clearly defines what she expects from your presentations and helps you feel comfortable for when you need to present.

Dr. Graham is a great teacher as far as I'm concerned. There were online quizzes that weren't too difficult. There are a few speeches over the course of the semester, just follow the grading rubrics and you will do great!

Fairly interesting and useful class that taught me to be a much better speaker. She is very nice and provides great feedback and will answer any questions you have throughout the course. When planning your speeches, just hit the points on the rubric and you'll be fine. She grades fairly easy, too.

"I'm not your professor, the book is your professor" Welcome to Com 3110 with Rita Graham. She should really put more effort into actually teaching the material. She makes her tests difficult, and the final is in person, cumulative, no book, no notes. But wait there's more! You never even see the tests that you took in the past.

Dr. Graham is an amazing professor. She explains everything you need to know and do in great detail. I wouldn't worry about this class at all. Not much studying and the tests over summer were online and straightforward. She told you exactly what you needed to know for them in reviews. Just listen and take some notes and follow her rubrics.

Amazing teacher! Tests are easy if you write down what she says in the review and mark it off in your book. They're online so take them with a friend. You will get a good grade on your speeches if you follow her guidelines. Highly recommend her! Overall one of my favorite professors I've ever had!

Wonderful! Helpful and kind, really wants to see you succeed. You will need the textbook, but the tests are really easy if you actually read it. Speeches are very standard and she gives you all the tools to succeed. Take her!

Hands down one of the best teachers I have had. She is extremely helpful, responsive, and nice overall. She tries to help you learn and improve and always looks out for your best in terms of grades. Not the easiest, but definitely the best.

Very sweet and nice! She doesn't grade too hard on the speeches but as long as you follow her guidelines to a T for a speech, you'll do well. The test I don't think she should have because she doesn't lecture do the test may be a bit tricky. Overall, I recommend her.

She was a huge help with speaking. I have always dreaded the speaking parts of any presentation, but she makes speaking easy. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually started looking forward to some of those presentations.

Class was easy but ONLY because professor Graham was so encouraging and clear. I hated giving speeches and wasn't into them at all. She ended up making me actually look forward to her class as well as help me become a great public speaker. She is extremely helpful, just ask. Practice ur speeches, your grade will reflect the time put into them.

Really nice and patient. Somewhat helpful in improving our speeches, though I think the only thing that could really help is more practice. Not a very demanding course. Only 4 speeches and 6 easy quizzes. I did get the feeling she has immediate preference over the better speakers though which was kinda discouraging. Overall, an alright class.

Dr. Graham is AWESOME! She is very helpful and easy with grading. She makes sure all her students succeed. Her lectures are usually short and sweet and you get out of class early a lot. One of the best speech teachers out there, definitely take her!

She is the GREATEST professor I have ever had. It is tough to speak in front of people, but she truly wants everyone to be good at. If you are worried talk to her, she is very patient and helpful. She prepares you well for your speeches and she grades fairly. I dont like talking in front of people, but after this class i feel comfortable doing it.

Comment:
