If you don't study, his midterm questions will make you want to drink yourself into a coma. You will learn to HATE his multiple multiples verrrrrrry quickly. The material he presents is straightforward and very easy to understand but there is ALOT of it and he makes you apply it on the exam.

His mannerisms and appearance will remind you of the quaker oats guy, but that doesn't stop him from being boring. Asks questions that don't test knowledge of the material. Boring speaker. Not recommended.

Comment:

Could easily pass off as an American Civil War general, or some kind of Postmaster General. That's good in those respects, but teaches poorly in biochemistry. Lectures are random messes of scribbling down disjointed words and structures. Could be humorous, though, and is a relatively nice guy.

Quite boring and poorly organized-- knew his stuff, but couldn't teach in an interesting way. Test was silly-- expected to know in great detail concepts that were hardly touched upon. Try learning at home by reading the text and lecture notes... almost not worth it to go to class.
