Comment:
Course requirements: One debate, one debate paper (about 10 pages), one take-home midterm (two five-page essays) and a take-home final (two five-page essays). The books aren't very good, but Professor Grey's anecdotes are awesome, and you'll enjoy a good laugh from time to time in his class.

Class was completely discussion based, and quite interesting. Though opinionted, Bob Grey is very intelligent. He goes beyond the textbook and required info. After many, many year,s he has great stories! An approachable and kind prof, I feel lucky to have had him for intro.

Bob Grey is amazing. He is definitely not a tough grader and he really knows his stuff. He's very approachable and friendly ans is an awesome adviser. He helped me sooooo much! And, yes, he is opinionated; however, it makes you think and argue. Lots of reading but most of it is discussed in class. I really recommend him!

Comment:
For Religion and World Politics, they probably could have chosen a better prof. Grey very loudly proclaims his opinion on religion in political science, and sometime it taints the class. However, if you ever get him talking about comparative politics, you see him shine despite the fact that he's a little bit spacey. He knows his stuff.

Extremely nice and helpful as an advisor. Gets a bit off course in discussions though and a bit unorganized. Not too hard, but reluctant to giving out too many A's. Very approachable. A wonderful person!

Comment:
Bob Grey is the most opinionated prof such that his grading is greatly influenced by his opinion and not the quality of work. write on atheism and he'd give u an A. talk about God and he'd change the capital G to small g. On the whole he's friendly but i wish he won't make his personal views reflect his grading

Comment:
Super nice guy, fairly easy grader. Lectures tend to get off-topic and rambling, and sometimes the readings aren't really discussed. He very clearly shows his personal opinions, both in academic matters and political ones. This makes writing papers that agree with what he thinks very easy, but sometimes the class seems biased.

The way he teaches the class makes it seem too easy. He also seems to be on the verge of ebing too old to teach and often launch into rambling rants in the class. Not a very good critiquer of writing either.
