Mullen is very nice and approachable. His lectures really help to explain the content and I felt like I was attending a TED Talk when I went to his class. You can tell he's interested in what he's teaching. He is also very encouraging of questions and doesn't make you feel stupid for asking for clarification about "simple" topics

I MISS HIM! I would take intro cell biology all over just so I could have him as a prof again. Unfortunately I don't have to because this class is definitely an easy A if you put the effort into it. He makes everything so easy to understand and I found myself becoming more and more interested in this field. Agh. Please be my personal tutor? Forever

By far one of my favourite profs so far! He just gets so excited about cell bio, especially GFP haha. The course is very dense and there is a lot of material, so make sure you read the notes frequently. He explains things very well and you can really tell he loves to teach. Great Prof. Also, he runs triathlons and looks pretty fine for his age ;)

This teacher is amazing. Makes you want to change your major to cell bio. I am not a 90s student by any means and he just had this knack of making you understand cell bio. did a review of the previous class every lecture. make sure you read over your notes and dont bother with the textbook
