If you want a cocky prof that assumes he's gods greatest creation choose this guy sitting through his lectures made me sick.. he also likes to call out people in rude ways during lectures. He is a hard marker and he isn't the easiest to approach assumes you know most material before he gives the lecture on it. Reads right from text book.

Genuinely cares about his students. I seriously loved him as a prof, and as a person. Amazing lecturer , tough exams. Attendance is a must, he WILL notice if you're not there (which in my opinion is a good thing, he really cares). Makes you actually like Chemistry.

Course starts off easy but when he starts to kick it into overdrive it can be really easy to get lost in class. Probably the most difficult course I've done thus far. Do the practice questions because he uses the same ones or similar ones on tests/assignments. He's a bit quirky but funny. You have to put in the work outside of class to pass.

Rude, obnoxious, self centered and thinks he hilarious. Classic narcissist. Makes class more about being "The Singer Show" than about teaching & students understanding. Will make you feel terrible if you ask Q's & embarrass u in front of other students if he thinks Q's are dumb. No empathy for people; unfair marker too. STAY AWAY!

If your primary goal is to get into med school, take this course from dal. It is way easier to do well because they provide you with a lot of practice questions that are relevant for exams. He is a good person though and can really force you to think like a scientist.

Really helpful if you go see him after class. His lectures are confusing if you do not read ahead of time. If you do read ahead of time, he will literally answer all the questions you had when you did the reading. His labs are hard but really explain the material you covered. Really nice guy but study like mad for his tests!

Pompous ass. Chem 1210 was a breeze though. Knows his**** well, which is probably why he is so big-headed (literally! ha). As for Organic chem...well let's just say you do not want to take it with him. That class was like beating a dead horse. You can study till your eyes bleed and still not get the results you want.

He was the man of men, took his class a year ago now, and it was still the most fun I had in any class during my first year. He has timely and appropriate jokes, approachable, makes fun of STFX, test are not overly hard, just make sure to study, this isn't high school and you will not get a good mark if you start studying the night or two before.

His style of teaching made taking notes in class very easy. The assignments were very helpful for preparing for the exams. His exams were brutal. He is not overly approachable, although he is quite humorous.
