I had him for Econ Boot Camp. He is extremely knowledgeable and relatable. He is willing to meet and help you outside of the intense Boot Camp. Highly recommend.

Sports economics is one of the classes Dr. Sorensen is known for at UMSL. He is a fantastic professor with a wealth of economic and sports knowledge. Lectures are interesting and the writing assignments are not too demanding.

I am bad with testing and understanding some material in classes but he makes it all very clear. Most professors take up pages of paper for class notes in one lecture, I only have 1 1/2 pages. He is great with making long chapters of material short, sweet, and easy to understand. I wouldn't take another professor for this course.

One of the most boring classes I have ever taken, but if you listen you do learn a lot. I would strongly recommend doing the test reviews, if you do the tests are a breeze!!!

Not for 1st time Econ students! Bob is a great teacher but is often bored by the lower level classes that I'm sure he's taught for years. If you can take your intro classes with someone else, I'd recommend it. Save this professor for the upper level econ classes (3000+) or you'll get a bad impression of him. p.s. - his bearded gaze is legendary!

The lectures are beyond boring if you have any real interest in economics. The wording on his tests are kind of confusing, but if you use his review questions, it's not too bad. Nice guy, boring lecture.

His lecture is beyond boring and his test questions are ambiguous and vague. I am an econ major and LOVE econ---- I can't stand his class. If you take econ at UMSL, try to get David Rose instead. He's the department chair and his lecture is totally dynamic.

The lectures are very boring, but they are very straight forward and pretty much the same thing as what is in the book but not as in depth. If you go to the lectures you don't need to read the book. He's a nice and easy going guy. The tests can be fairly hard, but they're doable.

This class has the most boring lectures you'll ever sit through, the tests are ALL essay/problem type, NO multiple choice. Not a difficult class, but not easy either.
