I got a C in his class and hated every minute of it but got a 3.2 that semester so w/e. He is an unapproachable angry man. if he was hard but had some personality it wouldn't be that bad...

Absolutely terrible! Very hard grader, but does not give any constructive criticism. I went to him for help and he lectured me for fifteen minutes on the importance of his class. I had only asked for him to look over my essay. Do not bother.

There's a lot of complaints here about Mr. Walker. The reason for this is that he exspects his students to actually care about the class they're in rather than just float through it. He was interesting and a fair grader. If you're serious about learning take Walker. If you came to school to get **** do not.

when choosing your classes for eng 101 unless you are looking to deal with tons and tons of non constructive critcism DO NOT TAKE WALKER! he is very intimidating so when you dont understand something a lot of people dont wont to ask him. he is a HARD.

Hard teacher. Picks on students' dialects. He is very critical on how students talk and their grammar. He grades students papers strickly on grammar. His LA class all you have to do is conduct one lesson but he really rips you apart if speak bad.

I don't know why people have so many frowns, Prof. Walker is awesome. Yea he wasn't an easy teacher, he got me really working and I liked that. I learned so much from his class, and I thought he was very funny! He was always open to help you.
