Comment:
Rod is the best! I've had him 3 times and every class I've done well. He cares so much about the well being of his students and he is funny and witty. The material is exceptionally clear and well described. The only think I dislike is the intense group projects he makes us do.

I am fairly confident that Rod would literally beat a dead horse. If you are able to stay awake for the lectures and take good notes, there is no way you cannot pass. He repeats his lecture material at least 5 times over. Very nice professor. However, Long. Boring. Repetitive.

hollllyyy boring lectures, i have never fallen asleep in a lecture before this class. it came to the point where i just read the textbook instead of going to class. text was easier to understand and a lot more interesting

His lectures are pretty brutal, just because his voice is SO monotone. But he's a great prof! Hilarious, and you can tell he really cares about his students. I lost my student card in class once, and he went on forever about all the places it might be if someone found it. Awesome prof.

This class was pretty boring. I felt like Barron could have tried a little harder to make it interesting, the textbook was more interesting than the class! And the midterms and exams are brutal, lots of writing and essay questions.

Best prof I've ever had! Although his lectures can put you to sleep (not because they aren't interesting but because of his relatively monotone voice) the course overall will teach you TONS!! He is very willing to help his students by providing review sessions before exams, etc. The overall vibe is that he genuinely wants his students to learn!

I had a question in class once and he couldn't answer in it, and I was fine with that. Then about a month later he handed me an article and told me it answered my question from way back when. That is a good professor.

I Really enjoyed this class. He is very knowledgable and an amazing lecturer, his classes go by so quickly. he does refrence the text which is pretty dry and takes a long time to read.

The lectures can be a little boring, but this guy knows how to teach. He offers great help outside the classroom and the marking format is much better than the usual two midterm, final exam that is typical of basically every psych class. If you bother paying attention and studying properly you'll actually be getting psych knowledge that is useful.

A little dry but funny in his own way, you become accustomed to the humour after a few classes. Midterms and finals were very, not overly easy though. Sometimes the class can get a little boring, but overall he is a good prof.

took cognitive, he knew his stuff, but lectures are BORING, he basically reads off the WebCT slides...and talks like a duck or something, like there's something stuck in his throat permanetly, makes it really hard to pay attention

Old man, Boring, made the class uninteresting. I could barely stand going to class for that hour and half. He needs to have glitter bursting from his pockets to make me pay attention. Lost all interst in class

Goes over information way too much. He is only clear because he spends way to much time on concepts! Way TOO slow in presenting information revelent to the course!! Slow to start the semester off (WebCT was ready and useful in the 3rd week of class). I'm not too sure if he will get through the course outline material!!!

Hated his teaching style in 2360, was absoluately anal about everything, very dry, wore the same sweater every day. I never looked forward to going to his class...ever. My stats mark increased after I took psyc measurement in 3rd year. Go figure.

No matter who teaches it, research would be boring, but could you please SPEAK UP a bit? Other than that, very helpfull if you actually go to office hours.

u think since its the most boring course ever they would try to get an interesting prof...apparently not. I want to fall asleep 15 minutes into his classes. Is an anal retentive marker. Makes exams then doesn't give enough time to finish them.
