Never take a class where your grade is based on the professor's opinion. I got an A on the written test and thought I did really well on the Performance test and ended up with a C in the class. Just because I am a girl I got points taken off for not being "powerful" enough. DO NOT TAKE THIS

Seriously, he was one of my favorite professors this semester. People are crazy for thinking this class is hard. All you have to do is go to most of the one day a week classes and participate. Yes your grade is 1/3 written quiz (with all the answers in the book) and 2/3 a performance exam, but both can be passed with an A if you just pay attention.

This class isn't for everyone. Professor K yells and screams and calls you out if your not doing it right. Sometimes he's scary. The class isn't easy! 1 multiple choice test and 1 performance test. You have to buy the book, you rip the tests out of it. He tells you exactly what to do so just listen to him! I rarely went and got an A.

im pretty sure kazoroski is retiring soon, but regardless he is an AWESOME teacher. your grade is basically i writen test that is ALREADY in the book and a performance test that is also ALREADY in the book. if you didnt like him/didnt do well you must have absolutely no coordination and no people skills.

this class was not at all what I hap expected. i did not learn anything and the professor was not helpful at all. he was a total failure at really teaching his students how to defend themselves and if you get on his bad side, you won't make a good grade regardless of how amazing you might be at self defense!

I strongly disagree with everybody's comments about this man didnt care if you passed or failed, he is very rude and i hated coming to this class.. overall as a prof he sucked and I think is a fake karate kidd! He is not very helpful and he expects a 90 pound female to hit a heavy dummy and move it, he wants you to fight like a tiger.. dnt take him

I loved this class! Yeah Mr. K is a little rough around the edges but he really cares for his students. Just do exactly what he asks in class and you will be fine. Go to all the classes to work on the technique and it will be a breeze. He gives 1 test from the textbook and 1 performance test as a final. Good luck!

Great instructure. You have to be intersted in this class if you want to do well. It is physical. Your learn techiques that will help you, if you are every attack. You will need to be on time. it is good to stay the whole class period because you will learn something ladies. I took him summer A and got an A in the class.

I didn't learn much and I went to almost every class. The teacher was a drill sargent and although he did seem to care about the well being of his students he was very inconsiderate and rude overall. Get another teacher if you can.

the class comes across easy, but he makes you feel like the tests will be very hard. they are not, so don't worry! i went about half the time, and got an A. just be sure you know the basics that he does the first hour of every class, and you are golden on the final. you can leave for the extra stuff he does every class.

He comes off really strict, only because if your technique is bad, your not going to overcome an attacker (whole point of this class). Honestly, I only went to class for the tests and the final and got an A. He tells you whats going to be on the test, so just practice your technique and power and youll be fine. All women should know self defense.

He comes off really mean at first but once you get past the first he is a big teddy bear inside. He is really passionate about his teachings and the only reason why he is tough on you is bc he cares and wants you to succeed. He doesnt take any fouling around. Go to the classes! Practice! You'll do great if you just try to learn the material.

If you pay just a little bit of attention, this class requires little effort. There're no surprises, and if you ask him about your technique there's no excuse for it not to be an easy A. And of course you have to prove that you can defend yourself. That's what the class is for!

His self defense class was the easiest class I've ever taken. It helps you learn while you get an easy A. He is a little abrasive, but its amusing to watch :)
