Very Dumbledore vibe; wise, caring, & honest. Russ's class is very straightforward. Tests can be hard but they're lecture based so take good notes. Only problem with Russ during the 8 week courses is that he rambles a lot so class may end early at 8:10 but he has a story that goes on till 8:45 before dismissal. He's the greatest at gwc 4 speech

Ive been impacted by a few professors & he has been one of the BEST!! He makes you feel very comfortable when speaking in front of the class. Gives you advice on how to prepare & better yourself. A teacher who loves his job and wants his students to succeed! Not to mention he is a counselor as well! I definitely recommend taking his class!

Terry is an awesome teacher, and I really enjoyed his class when I took public speaking with him as a teacher during the fall of 2008! :) He is also a good eops counselor as well, and he is extremely helpful! :)

When I first registered for this class I was terrified but Prof. Terry makes it fun. He gives you a lot of opportunity to get a good grade, and I actually enjoy getting up in front of the class now. Do buy the book. You must read for the last test and it helps with the extra credit assignment. Take this class for sure. I wish it was 16 week class:)

Speeches required covered by prev. review. Extremely helpful for those not use to public speaking. Took 8 weeks night course. Fairly enjoyable albeit nerve-wrecking at times. Classmates were fun & higher comfort level w/ them will help you. Prof. Terry knows his trade well and makes class interesting. Getting A in class is not impossible.

This class was awesome. Mr. Terry is fun. You will never fall asleep in this class. I took the 8 week evening class and time went by fast. 4 minor speeches (20pt total) 3 major (90 points) and 3 exams Read and take notes 10 questions from each chapter. Really fun and you'll be surprise how much you improve in the end.

The first day he gives you the impression that he is going to be really tough. you really get scared and want to drop. but after all it's easy to get an A with him if do what he wants. he require lots of assignments like museum visits, campus visits, etc.. which are good to boost your grades. Besides he is a very good counselor.
