Dr. Rodgers is a great choice to get your business math credits knocked out. I took him for two semesters: 1307 & 1308. 1307 (algebra) was insanely easy. 1308 (calculus) was not easy, even though he simplified things a lot. My best advice is to do ALL the homework right after class in his calculus class. Also, hes super funny.

Dr. Rodgers is by far the best professor I have taken at DBU. He is so kind, caring, and supportive. I took Finite Math for Business Analysis and Business Calculus with him, and he made the course fun. I'm not good at math at all, but I passed because Dr. Rodgers was there to always help me. He's also super funny and makes every class enjoyable.

Rodgers is by far the greatest professor I have ever had. I took him for both finite business math and calculus. He is very clear about his expectations, and makes math understandable for even the most clueless students. While at times his lectures are a little slow, he makes up for this with his hilarious personality. You won't regret taking him.

Sam Rodgers is easily the best math professor ever. I took him for 1307 and now I've got him for 1308. He's insanely funny and really takes the time to go over the information. I admit, it can be a little boring and slow if you already know the material, but taking his class is so worth it. And he drops the lowest test grade each semester!

Dr. Rodgers was great! He is a very funny old man, and he really lets you know his political views. His class is not very hard, but you have to show up to fully understand it. No by hand methods are taught at all, everything can be done on a calculator. He explains very clearly, you just have to pay attention and you will pass his only 3 tests.

Sam Rodgers is the man. He clearly shows all the mathematic principles, teaching them in a way that made them make sense like the never had before in my mind. Not only that he ties them in well with practical business use. He is like your really cool grandfather who likes to teach you math, then follows that up with a rousing SHAZAM!!!!! He is dope

Great Teacher! I would definitely suggest taking his class. So easy, & he is very helpful. He tries to make class fun and the tests are multiple choice. I enjoyed going to class. & it made a world of difference learning how to do almost everything on the calculator!

He was great! He believes in using calculators so he teaches everything through a calculator. Also, I took this class two years ago and he still remembers my name when I see him around campus. He's great, friendly, and explains things very well. Awesome professor!!

SHAZAM!!! he is a great teacher... math has always made me cry... literally... but he made it much easier to understand. If you have trouble with math this is the professor for you. He truly wants to see his students succeed and he will make you laugh while he teaches you :) Take him for any math class you can!
