Extremely hard class. Turchi is a nice woman, but lectures are vague and hard to understand. You are better off reading the book. Dont take this class in the summer, too much to know, too little time to study for exams.

Dr. Turchi is an amazing professor and an extremely nice, caring woman. She has degrees (graduate and undergrad) in Chemistry, Biology, and Biochemistry, so she really knows her stuff. Also, if you're a Bio major like me, she sympathizes with us having to take this extremely hard Chem course. Her tests are brutal, but come STRAIGHT from notes :)

The sweetest woman I have ever met... but her tests are INSANE! Study HARD, do not take biochem lightly. She's always willing to help and she has a great, caring personality!

This is the hardest class I've ever taken. It was very hard to comprehend what she explains during lecture. Take her for lab though, she is much easier than Miller. Sweet woman, just impossibly hard.
