S. Connor is a great respectful proffesor, always open to guide and help. What is more important, he brings the class to another level. Is not just the fact of drawing for drawing, but applying the concepts we learn to communicate ideas in a stronger way. Yes, you must be responsible and attend class, but who wants to learn with an easy teacher?

Sean Connors is an intelligent professor. He gives specific verbal and mark up feedback each week to all students. He has well organized lectures. He gives weekly drawing assignments that are connected to bone and muscle anatomy. Be prepared to enter the class with figure drawing skills and also be prepared to do 2 or three figure drawings weekly.

He is very knowledgeable, and prepares many different examples to class for his lectures. I have attended another art college previously where I had to take a couple of anatomy classes, and I learned most in his class. I can see why other people don't like him so much, but if you pay attention to his lectures, you will get a LOT out of it.

Connors is a knowledgeable anatomy teacher, not so much as a good art teacher. Slams you with a whole bunch of homework and very strict grader. If you could find another teacher for the class, I highly recommend you go ahead and do that. Wait an extra semester if you have to. Just an overall weird guy

Loved the organized format of this class, lots of practice in analyzing, drawing, and identifying anatomy in master work. Not a lot of stress on proportion, more focus on expressing overlapping and connected forms. Adept use of line he appreciates. Liked the classroom critiques. No music allowed, harsh with homework deadlines, fantastic lectures.

Conner may be knowledgable on Anatomy,but he didn't explain how to apply those knowledge to our drawing, didn't focus much on drawing skills and forms inform. Which is missing the point of this class,we need anatomy knowledge to get a better concept of forms, to make better quality of art works, not simply memorizing all the terms and placements.

Sean has no artistic skill whatsoever. My significant other is a nurse and from a professional healthcare standpoint, his anatomy is completely off. He would be better suited teaching a grade school art class for children who are visually impaired so they do not have to see his shameful imitation of real art.

A super nice teacher. Always care about his teaching and very helpful. I learned a lot in his class. I am sad now since the semester is going to be finished and I will finish his class. However, I will always go to his workshop in the future.

I hate to leave a negative comment, but Sean really needs to develop more as an artist himself before teaching in the arts - even if it is anatomy. He an ok teacher, a little strange at times. I think his lack of drawing ability affects his ability to teach well at a school where there are a lot of skilled instructors.

Sean is a great teacher. He knows everything about anatomy and can definitely draw it. He does give more homework than other anatomy instructors, but it helps make you a better artist. Slackers will be destroyed in this class so don't fall behind. Overall, I highly recommend him.

Intro-adv anatomy: He's a hard teacher who tends to play favorites sometimes. He holds grudges and you have to suck up to him for him to be nice to you. He grades too harshly because he bases everything on his own taste. He does Michaelangelo's style (not as good though) and doesn't like any other style. Many peers have problems with the teacher.

Sean is downright amazing! He knows how to draw, but has a distinct style that many do not appreciate it seems. Everytime I hear a complaint about him, its about his drawing ability. His lectures are easy and clear, plus his drawings on the chalkboard really help (and amazingly drawn well too!) Highly recommended.

man this guy is a spaz... is not considerate of different teaching needs and boring as hell, that and he doesn't know how to draw he know the anatomy but CAN'T draw it ie the asis is not a bunch od scratches on the hip and the 'pinky' toe is NOT a copy of the toe next to it! he talks the talk but deffinately does not walk the walk. you have to be blunt about even the littlest of things with him...sheesh he give male artists a bad name.
