Absolutely brilliant political scientist! Just go to his class and actively listen to what he has to say. On your paper, just be sure to demonstrate you understood what he talked about and you'll be fine! He gave me a 4.0 so I might be biased. :)

Mahoney is a hard professor but you learn a lot. He talked a lot about how government and Star Wars were a lot alike and how the legislative system is like a marble cake so it was always interesting to go to class just to see what he had to say.

Good teacher. Only holds class 4 days a week for 300 level classes. Lots of reading... tests can be misleading, gives no partial credit. I left after our first test thinking I had aced it... got a 60, had to argue with him to get a 70.
