Terrible Prof, he gives very boring lectures. Its a chore to go and stay for the whole thing which could probably easily be done in 30 minutes, compared to the 1.5+ hours he takes. Almost impossible to stay engaged and his slides aren't as good as you'd hope.

He owns a company and appears to really know his stuff. I went into the class with a background in it as well, so I found it very easy. Lectures were a bit dull, but informative. He can seem a bit disorganized at times though, for example he never even posted a mark breakdown for the course AFAIK. My final grade is inexplicably lower than expected.
