Shirley is one of those professors you just have to suck up and take. This class is a lot of work. If you're taking 6 classes with this being one of them, good luck. Minimum 3 hours of work a week and you'll be lucky to get a B. A lot of people disrespect her in class, BIG MISTAKE. You make her life hard, she'll make your life hard.

This is by far the worst professor I have ever had and probably the worst teacher in my lifetime. She doesn't explain just tells you to follow a book. Doesn't answer questions calls students out. She should be relieved of her job. She doesn't listen to students who struggle. Sh always talks about how great she is but never shows it. AWFUL TEACHER.

I attended the first day of class and dropped out. I highly advise all of you out there to avoid picking her for BA 120. She is terrible at teaching and old fashioned. She's a pain and very displeasing. Those of you who are in her class, good luck.

The worst class I have taken at Riddle. She does nothing to help, her lectures aren't even lectures. Be prepared to do everything by yourself unless you have helpful classmates. Assigns so many time consuming and irritating things

You will need to use the book for Access and SQL assignments. You will have homework assignments twice a week which take up a lot of time. Will want you to attend class, but all the work is online and she will not help or assist you. Hard tests on the material. Does not care if you are sick, will not give you make up work. Very mean & rude. Avoid.

You must buy the book for the course. You will have multiple assignments each week that will take up a lot of time and she will not provide assistance with the work. Get on her good side, or she will have no mercy for you, especially if you don't show up to class. Classes are simply you on the computer doing assignments. Avoid.

I spend 4+ hours and write 5-10 pages per assignment. I am getting a B. She only grades off of the rubric, NOT INSTRUCTIONS. Instructions are NOT clearly written. Be sure you read the rubric. She requires you to do A LOT of outside research, and cite numerous references. This is not in the instructions, and she will deduct a lot of points for it.

Professor grades only on the rubric. Even if there are sections of the rubric left out of the instructions for a particular assignment, they are still mandatory. There is no such thing as an A with this professor. I used word for word answers out of the book and got a B.

This is the hardest class I've taken. I've never rated a professor before. She prompted me to warn you. If you take her class you will read every chapter, have quizzes for each, homework and discussions for each and a paper nearly every week. The group project is HUGE. She did have grace for my incessant late work. STEER CLEAR OF HER

Going into it, I was excited to take the class. However, that quickly changed after my first assignment. I got the lowest grade I have ever got and when I asked why, she didn't give me any feedback that helped. She just said to follow the grading rubric. When I did, it didn't matter. She provides no feedback and doesn't respond to messages.

She has a lot of bad reviews but I think she is a good teacher for BA 120. Excel is something business students really need to know and you learn that with the textbook. This class is not like math where you plug in a formula, you have to learn how to use excel the way you use Word. The only thing I hated was Emerge. online book of irrelevant stuff

The WORST professor I've ever seen in Embry Riddle. She's always yelling at you and telling you what to do. But she NEVER teach. You'll strongly rely on your textbook and other students who understand the materials on their own because she doesn't even know how to solve the problems. AVOID TAKING HER CLASS IF POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
