Professor Farough is awesome. Take him for your core requirement. He talks a lot about public sociology and you do some fantastic reading in his class. Exams are easy, easy to work with for writing papers. Only complaint is group discussions in his class. They're awkward and don't reinforce anything. His class discussion are much better.

one of my favorite professors at assumption, if you show up participate and do the papers you will be fine. he is also completely understanding. he actually check on you to see how you are doing not just in his class but in life as a whole. he's easy if you try and hard if you don't. he is super lay back and funny! Ive had him for about 4 classes.

Loved this professor! He made me wish I double majored (adding Soc) but it was too late in my college years. He makes the information easy to understand with the use of dad jokes. His love for the subject is clear and wants to help students love it too. Went to him for help with papers and dramatically helped my grade. Best professor at Assco.

Easily one of the best professors I've had here at Assumption so far. Aside from class discussions he made everything interesting and was able to relate it to a level that was easily understood. Just be ready to read and write a nice research paper

Never taken a Sociology class before his. Texts can be dull sometimes. Lectures are crystal clear though. Extremely nice guy and tries to make the class interesting. MAKE SURE TO READ! He pretty much gives you the test in study guide format though a week beforehand so study that and you'll do fine.

My fave teacher at AC, I absolutely love him. He is so nice and funny, he can turn even the most boring class into a laugh fest. Sometimes there is a bit of reading to do but it's well worth it to take the class just to have him as a teacher.
