Had him for 3 year as my high school History Professor. The man is a LEGEND! He hardly needs his own notes because he knows his material SO WELL! His lectures is like story time for adults, and it is so easy to talk to him! Super nice guy, very animated and fun way of teaching. You will never regret taking his class, I guarantee!

My favorite teacher at MU thus far. He's so nice and really respects you as an adult. Class isn't mandatory, except on test and quiz days. Two matching quizzes & two fill in the blank tests, straight from lecture. No need for the book. Fair grader, easy class as long as you pay attention to lecture and write everything down. No discussion sec req

Tests and quizzes are all based on his lectures, there is absolutely no need for the textbook. As long as you write down everything he says in class, you'll be fine. Sometimes he quizzes on erroneous details. Had 3 quizzes, a midterm and final. All are either matching or fill in the blank. Easy class if you pay attention and study.

The best teacher I've had at Marquette so far. He lectures as if he is telling a story, which makes them far more interesting and easy to pay attention to. Quizzes are either fill in the blank or mix and match, and the mid-term and final are true/false, which is easier than any other history professor.

Best professor I have had so far at Marquette. He tests based on lecture so you have to go, but his lectures are interesting so it is no big deal. He gives his students every opportunity to succeed and he wants them do do well. Great professor.

Great Professor! Hilarious, vividly depicts the information. Tests are T/F, doesn't try and fool you. Quizzes on names which is challenging but put the time in and you'll be fine. A couple papers which are alright if you don't put it off till the last second. Every class was great, loved going to lectures...Take him if you can.

Awesome professor. Classes were entirely lecture, and quizzes and tests were all either T/F or matching. Even if you don't particularly care for the subject of history, his lectures are so engaging and interesting that it's as if he's telling one big story.
