This guy is the wierdest person I've ever met! He rambles on about things that are way out of my realm of thinking. He also gives absolutely no help in understanding chemistry.

Not very interesting, he'll put you to sleep. He's a nice person if you talk to him. If you take this class don't get Asby Wright as a T.A. the WORST T.A. EVER. He'll make you more confused than you already are, and he don't know the material very well himself. He contradict Walstrum alot.

What a boring teacher, if you didn't get your nap this is the time. He always does experiments and they never work-thats the only motivation I have to go to his class, to see him mess up. To make things worse he has the most anoying voice you could imagine. He was one good TA-Ashby Wright....AKA...ASH!

Boring. Fall asleep almost every day. It didn't help that I consider Chemistry the scum of the earth. If you study, this class is easy because the curve is so big.

HATED this guy! I'm not fond of chemistry to begin with and this guy made it the worst lecture of my life! I ended up not going to class the last two months! He was so boring, read the notes from the over head...I couldnt stay awake so i stayed home instead! If possible, take ANYONE but him!!!

Do NOT take his class if you can avoid it. In 177, the problem was that Burnett lectured 2 of 3 classes, wrote the tests, wrote the quizzes, directed lab, assigned all the homework, was in charge of the TAs, etc. Walstrum lectured 1 class. Not good. Also monotone, and reads his notes, but you have to go to class b/c of the clicker quizzes.

Doesn't explain things as he puts up his overheads just reads them word for word. Very rarely shows examples of the new material he is teaching. Very monotone voice. Only good thing is he usually has a few demonstrations in class each day.
