He was an amazing professor for ECO 230. He was very easy to understand. If you pay attention and study at all you will get an A. He does his class on quizzes instead of tests, but he shows you exactly what to know. You just have to copy and paste

The class is so boring but it is so easy. If you need to take ECO 230 and don't need it for a core class, take his class. I learned absolutely nothing but it was an easy A. Go to class, he gives you the answers to the quizzes the day before you take the quiz. No final and no homework. Easy 100% but won't learn much unless you pay attention.

His lectures are dry and he rambles on. It's hard to get notes from what he's telling you. BUT, to balance that out, the only grades he took on us were quizzes on things he did on the board called "demonstrations". The quizzes were literally the demonstration, so you simply needed to memorize the demonstration that you took down in your notes.

His class is super easy as long as you show up for the demos. He only grades 12-14 assignments throughout the semester so you have to do well on all of them to get an A, but for the amount of effort put in it's an easy B class.

He has a policy that anyone failing half of the first 7 tests, he automatically fails you. All of his tests are 7 points total, so it's very easy to fail his course. He uses the book a lot, but he never tests you over any of it, just the graphs that he outlines in his demonstrations, which sometimes aren't in the book. Take a different professor.

gave almost weekly quizzes, if you got lower than a 4 out of 7 on more than 3 quizzes it is an automatic F. He keeps his back to the class the whole time.

Very difficult class. Worst teacher ever. Half the time he doesn't even look at the class while he's teaching so don't bother raising your hand. Doesn't know how to explain things and gives insane quizzes.

I attended every class, I read/took notes before class, took notes during the class, and reviewed/studied after class. I even asked him for advice and help after each class and he was not interested at all. Difficult professor/class w/o prior knowledge of ECO. No HW, no worksheets, but two grades. Midterm exam and final exam. No Extra Credit. Bad.

He is a horrible professor, do not take him unless you are very good at tests and enjoy reading the text books, he has changed his way of teaching I assume since everyone prior said he lets you retake all his quizzes, this is not true anymore. He told the class the first day only a few would pass the class, he isn't lying

He is the worst professor I've ever had. He should not be allowed to teach. Granted he knows the material and is very good with math, he is simply not qualified to lead a class of students. He was so unclear and confusing in class, he even confused himself half the time. Your only chance of passing is to read the text with amazing understanding.

This way his first year teaching this class, but he did very well. He lectures alot but its right fron the book, no homework, attendance not mandatory, and he always allows retakes on tests. You had better pay attention though, tests can be tricky. Always tells you what to study before a test.

He really isn't a great teacher. He is a nice guy, but his lectures are boring. I never really understand the material. Class times for our class were short; I don't think we were ever in there for the whole time. Gives test re-takes. I wouldn't recommend him!

Showed up for class right as it was about to start and left immediately after it was over. Doesn't respond to emails. Overall difficult to reach. Presents material in easy to understand format, but lectures are very dull. Exams were multiple choice. If you read the book you should be fine. Crappy syllabus. Gives tests at random.

A perfect proffesor for those students who do not need their hand held. He goes over the material in class, assigns no homework, and is helpful if you ask. Yes he has a dry teaching method but it is dry material. He is usually very clear and gives real life examples. A good choice if you are better when taking learning into your own hands.

knows the material, notes are brief. if you go to class, take notes, study you will do fine. having a great tutor doesn't hurt. very dry sense of humor and monotoned
