Comment:

Mrs. Strickland made the hardest Calculus class bearable. Calc 2 is horrible by nature but she powers you through. She post her notes after class, and even post homework/quiz solutions and test reviews. Only drawback is one side of a 3x5 index card for test double side for final. Open notes for quizes. She will choose your quiz partner. Take her.

Professor Strickland is a great choice for math, especially if you struggle. She teaches clear and is always available for help. Homework can be hard, but the test are easy. You are allowed to have a note card during the test.

I think that Professor Strickland is an amazing professor, she explains things in an easy to understand way and her notes make sense. She also posts the notes online, so if you do miss something it is easily accessible. Her enthusiasm for math has made the class easier and enjoyable, I was originally intimidated by this class. Highly recommend.

She was my first professor so far in the College, and she was tough. However, if she was asked to elaborate on any detail she can usually give you a good answer that would allow for a clear understanding. Additionally, her office hours were extremely useful and were the soul reason for my solid grade in the class.

Probably the best professor I've taken yet. She is a very kind person and passionate about her field. Her notes are amazing and easy to follow. She really cares about you understanding the material and will go out of her way to help relate. I even got her notes for another class with another professor because they were that good. Do not miss out.

Comment:

Great professor. Fun, engaging, and phenomenal at explaining the material. It came as a surprise to me, but I kind of enjoyed the class. There were a few somewhat long homework assignments, but nothing ridiculous. I am taking her next semester, highly recommend.

I was never a 'math person' but I actually enjoyed class and got an A! I learned the material and it wasn't frustrating like math can often be for me. Mrs. Strickland was by far the best math teacher I ever had. She breaks things down so it is easy to understand. I wish she taught 1120!

"Concepts of Math Teachers" was challenging course but Professor Strickland made learning fun. She is so infectiously excited about the subject of Math!! She has high expectations of her students but not so high you can't achieve them. She taught very clearly, followed syllabus, was fair/pleasant. Take any course taught by Professor Strickland.

Strickland is just like in her name "strick". She knows her material that is for sure and she goes over the basics well, however her test are 10x harder then the homework and examples she gives. I would take her again if I had to.

Wow! What a great teacher. She is down to earth. You can talk to her as a person and not a professor with their nose in the air. Great teaching methods. Office hours are very helpful. Expect to stay the whole class time. She is fair, and with enough study time not too difficult. I highly recommend Mrs. Strickland because she is so kewl!

I had her for stats a couple semesters ago and LOVED it! She gave us perfect notes and explained all the formulas in English along with "math speak." If you had a question, she wouldn't automatically give you an answer; she helped you think it out for yourself so you understand the concept better. I can't wait to take calc with her this semester!

Amazing teacher! I've had her for both Calculus II and Intro to Linear Algebra. Her enthusiasm for and love of math is almost contagious. She gives excellent notes and always takes time to make sure everyone understand the concepts. Answers all questions and even encourages students to ask questions. HIGHLY recommended professor.
