A lot of this is learning on your own. Doesn't go over what you should've fixed in your previous papers. The actual class itself is fun to be a part of. Just harsh on grading I think

She could possibly be a great teacher but I did not experience it. I believed that walking in there for an Italian 101, she'd be more apt to help and it would be modestly challenging. It was hard. Extremely. Only take if you know Italian, or get the gist or you'll have to drop like I did.

Unbelievable!! Very hard and tough professor. she demands a lot from students and gives a lot of work. she asked us to write an essay in italian in the midterm exam, and when I wrote about 10-11 sentences, she said "thats not enough." I recommend her if you are only taking 2 classes per semester

She answers questions like you're an idiot. Students are afraid to ask questions in class because she responds quite rudely. She is quite irritable and I did not look forward to her classes.

This is college, she makes you work hard for your grades and your homework, if you ask her for assistance she'll hear you out and will tell you how to go about finding your solution but she won't just give it to you, work for it and you'll be fine. I told her I wanted to drop the class and she insisted that I don't, Im glad I didn't.

The class will be easy for those who know Spanish or are used to learning new languages. If you're going to take this class, have the determination to learn the language. This is college, not high school. If you're not serious about learning it, don't take the class, you'll only hurt your gpa. I'm fluent in Spanish and I struggled with some parts.

pointless...completely pointless. I do well in basically all of my classes and um yeah didn't learn a thing. No help what so ever when you ask questions and expects far to much for a 100 class.

Jumped into Italian 102 without any prior knowledge of Italian, but semi-fluent in Spanish and some knowledge of french, and it isn't that rough, I'm pulling a B/C. She is very straight forward and challenges you to speak the language and try to think in it. She speaks Italian 85% of the time, so you're assimilated to hearing it. Good teacher.

I honestly felt like dropping it from the start, but I'm glad I didn't. This class definitely taught me a lot and helped me be more confident when speaking it with strangers. I would recommend sticking around. She is very considerate, also when it comes to the work it may be a lot but she is willing to help if you ask for it.

She is a great teacher, she does expect you to do your best at learning the language and participating in the class discussions that are all in italian, even on the very first day. If you want to learn the language and are interested take the course, if you simply want to fulfill a requirement take something else.

The most difficult college course I've ever taken. Knowing another language is almost IMPERATIVE for you to do well in this class, unless you spend all of your free time reading the book. Speaks full Italian sentences, which is good so you learn, but can be very intimidating and overwhelming. If you're up for the challenge take the class. good luck

Made the class really challenging forces you to speak the language from the start. She stimulates critical thinking and analytical capabilites. Love the fact that she doesn't listen to complaining babies that cry "but we don't speak italian!!" What the F*** are you there for then? This class is for those who enjoy being challenged and want an actual college education. Drop out if you are too lazy or stupid to keep up.

Alright, she's a good professor but seriously...it's beginning Italian. DON'T Start talking Italian right at the start. You'll lose the students right from the beginning.
