Ive taken her for both 176 & 180 because shes the best at explaining things. If you dont understand something shes good at breaking it down and making it as simple as possible. She has very little patience for people who dont do the homework or participate so dont expect her to be super helpful if youre not putting in the work.

Susan Working is a respectable teacher. She will make everything clear for you from day one. She will have your tests/quizzes graded and returned almost instantly, and will supply you with every homework assignment, due dates, calendar, and all other essential structural information. She does expect competence at a expected level given your course

AMAZING teacher, but it wasn't easy! Do the homework everyday or you will fall behind very quickly! ASK QUESTIONS and take advantage of her office hours. I went to her office every time we got our tests back to go over my missed problems and she totally respects that. She is extremely good at explaining material so take thorough notes.

Math 176 was really hard for me but this professor made it look easy. Just go to class, take notes and DO THE HOMEWORK and you'll pass with B or A

She acts like she doesn't want me to pass the class. She knows math good, but she is not the best teacher. She is very impatient and lazy to complete a question. She is very strict about attendance. Also, when you have an issue or concern, she just tells you to do more homework questions. I would never take this class again from her. Good luck...

I took her class, and I really regret about it. She doesn't even have desire to complete some questions, and assumes that the students to understand rest of the solution. Even when I ask a question to her, she seems like she doesn't want to spend her time on me, and she shows that very disrespectfully. I wish I would't take that class from her.

Best math teacher I have ever had. There is a lot of homework but none of it is excess, all of it is useful. Super enjoyable and makes difficult concepts incredibly easy with examples and connections. If you show up, pay attention, and do the homework like you're supposed to, this class is an easy A.

Working's very clear and straightforward with her teaching. However, she's real stingy on attendance. If your class starts at around 9:30/10:30 ish, good luck at finding parking and getting to class on time to take a quiz. She doesn't accept late quizzes so if you're late/absent, you get a zero. Also she can be intimidating and hard to approach ://

I took her for Math 90 and I really like her. She will answer any questions you have and will meet you outside of class as well. Don't miss any days, she is strict on attendance and give pop quizzes. Do all the homework and ask question and you will pass. I also found her to be funny.

Working is truly a gem among math profs. Calc 2 is a tough subject. She teaches it really well. You're not graded on homework so its up to you to do it. Advice: definitely do it. If you don't, your chance of passing is slim. Proper notation is important, especially on tests. SHOW UP TO CLASS. I'm very good at math and this class took some effort.

She is great at explaining. Her lectures are clear and precise. She grades fair, since she teaches all the proper notation in the lecture notes. By far one of the greatest teachers I had. Made math make more sense. Recommended.
