Dr. Walker is brilliant and kind. She loves what she does and has got an interesting story about a monkey friend she made. Some of her lectures were a little hard for me to follow, but that's mostly due to my lacking grasp on DNA, but afterwards, I actually understood the process more than when I was in a biology course.

Dr. Walker is amazing and I love listening to her lectures. As long as you know the material that was gone over in class you will ace the tests. However, she does not post the power points or lectures online so you really need to go to class or have a friend that takes really good notes.

Have taken for 2 classes now. Knows material very well. Lectures are fairly easy to follow. Make sure you take good notes. Assigns reading questions so the textbook and reading are a must. Papers are interesting and allow for a wide variety of topics. Study guides are extremely helpful when preparing for the tests.

Dr. Walker is an amazing professor. She always takes time out to go over things we don't understand. She can be a little scatterbrained and hard to get a hold of, but she is incredibly knowledgeable about biological anthropology. If I could take another class with her, I would.

Dr. Walker is amazing! I took 3 classes with her and would take more if I could. She doesn't just hand you an A, but her grading is more than fair and the assignments and tests aren't too tough if you study. She's really down-to-earth, funny, and often entertaining. I can't recommend her enough!

She is a great teacher and she teaches this class very well. If you aren't familiar with some genetics/cell biology stuff, you might wanna study extra hard on that but she doesn't assume that people are already familiar with concepts. Do the readings and attend class and you should get an A. Besides, she's a very fun/nice/intelligent teacher.

Dr. Walker is a great teacher, she knows her material and does a really good job explaining it. She also cracks jokes through out her lectuces so pay attention. I also love how she lets people know when they are wrong.

Good teacher. Provides information although sometimes it is a bit incoherent. She will go back over it and it usually gets better. This is especially true when learning about cell division. Show up to majority of the classes especially movie days. Meet with the GA before a test he/she can be extremely beneficial. Grade built on homework and tests

I don't know if I caught her on an off semester, but I didn't have a very good experience with Dr. Walker. She's obviously a brilliant person with a thorough knowledge of anthropology, but her lectures were erratic and confusing and sometimes her notes were incomprehensible. She tells students that they're wrong, which upset me. Tests are easy.

Walker is such an awesome professor. She knows so much about her field, and it shows. She makes it really easy and fun to understand and learn. Her tests are easy, but only if you've taken the notes and studied. The homework level is just enough to teach you something without overwhelming you.

I was an anthro major & took pretty much every class that Walker taught. She is a brilliant lecturer-- there were days that I dragged myself to class only because I didn't want to miss out on a show of her oddball sense of humor. She is, by far, one of best profs at the university!

I took both ANT 125 and 370 with Dr. Walker, and she is a fabulous professor who really loves what she teaches. Her classes were very easy and straightforward, especially ANT 125, where test material comes straight from the Powerpoints. I would not only recommend her for an easy A, but also for a very interesting and fun class.

While this was an extremely difficult class, Dr. Walker wants her students to succeed so there are plenty of easy opportunities for points in the class. I studied hard for the tests and never got above a very low B, but ended up with an A overall just by doing the assignments, which were pretty fun. If you like going to the zoo, take this class. :)

She is very clear. 90% of test questions come from the lecture. 10% come from the articles you read and the movie questions. you dont have to read the book, but i suggest getting it. pretty easy teacher overall.

I love this class. It is very interesting and really easy as long as you do the work and study the study guides for the tests. I really recommend this class and especially this teacher she is really good, she tends to ramble but it is really interesting.
