Attendance in not technically required, but it is imperative. Plymate is an amazing professor, very intelligent. You will work really hard for him, but you will also learn a lot. Get a binder--he uses a ton of handouts. Majors-don't worry. He will review what you should have learned and didn't in Mineralogy.

Dr. Plymate has an excellent teaching ability and is a geology yoda. This is not an easy class but is worth the effort, highly recomended.

Plymate is a smart guy and I would highly recommend him. Tests are a bit diffucult if you are not already knowledgable in the field, but he gives you a study guide that is very useful!

nice guy. He is not to boring(nohting you cant handle after having some of these other professors) tests require alittle studying but not extensive. I do reccommend this class to anyone.
