Tony is the best math teacher that I ever had. I learned so much in his classes. Now I am in graduate school in mathematics in one of the best programs in the country. What I learned in Tony's class was much deeper than what I am learning here.

This prof is terrible. He's rude, he's arrogant, his lectures are completely abstract and make little to no sense. I got an A on the MT, A on every quiz, missed two questions on the final, and got a C+ in the class. He has no skill in instruction. Avoid.

DO NOT take a course with this professor. EVER. Even perhaps if it causes you to stay at UCI an extra quarter, I would probably choose that over having him as a prof. He is rude, unhelpful, does not curve, unmerciful w/ grading, outrageous in his demands.

This guy is not for idiots. But if you work hard and do the homework then he is very good. I have had other teachers who have tought fractions for most of the quarter. Mr. Shaska is not like that. Overall, i would highly recomend him if you want to learn.
