Dr. Rohm is an amazing teacher! You do not have to show up to class, however, he inputs his own comments about the curriculum, that will appear on the midterm and final. I would recommend you buying the online book when school starts. Overall, he is a great educator and is always there to help his students.

I took ist101 with professor Rohm and it was an easy class. He is a business man who knows how the world really functions. He might not be the best professor to teach the subject but you can learn a lot from him if you pay close attention to him. It was an easy A for me even though I skipped a lot of classes.

Take Dr. Rohm for an easy A. I put in little to no effort and received an A. The course is well structured and we didn't have to meet that often - I liked not coming to school at 8pm. The group work is a bit boring but get into a group that is fun. I didn't learn anything new about IST but if you do old things in new ways your sure to get an A.

I didn't really learn much of anything new. I learned about "blue movies," trips to a mountain top in China, and to order caskets online for a discount. Analogies and stories can be a bit repetitive, but it gave me a good laugh. A lot of busy work, but not hard if you follow directions and do what he wants. Easy A.

You should take Rohm! He is easy! Group project, journals, group discussion... it was really fun though and not time consuming. I had a fun time in his class. Bring laptop to class though.

A lazy and indifferent professor. He's nice enough until he has to answer a tough question or take accountability for actually teaching students - at which point he becomes inept and hard to reach. All assignments are easy, but they're graded arbitrarily, so the content of your work won't mean much. Avoid him unless you'd like to waste a quarter.

TAKE THIS CLASS! If you go to every lecture you will be good. at first the amount of assignments seems crazy but they're actually simple and helpful. The MD seems crazy because its the complete book but he only asks for summaries of chapters! AND: if you do great on the MD, you can use that as your final :o. Take this class! you will learn a lot.

Class is boring and useless, what he talks about has nothing to do with with the class, there was no text book used. Also his grading scale is not good he assigned work is only a C and you have to go above and beyond to get anything better but he doesnt tell you how, and he grades you against everyone else in the class, not fair in my opinion.
