Comment:

Not unlike many other HKIN courses. Material is basic, and quite easy to understand! Some of her power points haven't been changed since the early 2000's. However, the midterm and exam (both worth 40% each), are not straightforward, and material is more confusing on tests than what is given from slides. (NO TEXTBOOK)

Tara is a great person but her slideshows were very unorganized and hard to follow. The hands on part of the course was excellent and she knew her stuff but was not the best at teaching it. She also tended to be tricky on the exam and midterm.

This class is one of the only classes that I look forward to going to. A class one is able to apply to everyday life, you don't sit there thinking "when am i ever going to use this". She is an amazing teacher and so easy to approach. There are no assignments but the exams and midterms are a perfect level if you go to class, and why wouldn't you?
