Professor Gibbons was a great instructor. She tells you what you need to pass and do well in the course and will provide as much help as you need. She genuinely wants you to do well in this course, but if you skip class a lot she won't help you as much as she may help students who show up and do their work on time. Just show up & show some effort.

Professor Gibbons was my favorite prof freshman year! Despite the bad things i had heard about this class she made it actually one of my favorites. She is super organized and helpful. Be ready to rewrite papers a lot but she knows what it takes to get an a so trust her and make the improvements she tells you to. Best 150 prof at gvsu!

I was worried about this class since I've heard nothing but bad things, but I actually like it now that I'm in it. This is all due to professor gibbons. She is an excellent teacher who really cares about her students, really nice. She has helped me so much already. She always makes sure to help every student on the lab days. I highly recommend her!

I failed 150 last semester and now I know why, I had the wrong prof! My old professor didn't do anything - he didn't teach us, just expected us to know how to write. Professor Gibbons is the total opposite, she actually teaches us! She gives steps and good advice, already I have learned so much more this semester. Take her!

Prof Gibbons cared immensely for me as well as my classmates. She is a great instructor who will help you in any way needed, as well as a great teacher who easily taught the info that the class required. She would reach out if she could see you were struggling or had a bad day. She is extremely caring, and kind!

Professor Gibbons is awesome. Writing 150 is something most freshman dread but she really makes it bearable. She gives AWESOME feedback, and shes VERY organized. She makes sure to see all your papers 3+ times. You can tell she really cares about her students and as long as you put in the effort, you shouldn't have any issue getting a good grade.

I wasn't sure if i should take this class or writing 150 but i'm glad i took this class. Professor gibbons is awesome! She's nice and she is an aweseom teacher. She gives alot of assignments but they aren't very long. You get good comments on papers so you know how to improve your grade. If wish i had her for writing 150 but her class was full

I really didn't love this class but I loved the teacher. She is nice and fair and smart. She really makes class useful and doesn't waste time with busy work. My best advice is to go to her office hours and really listen to her advice about starting papers early and putting time in early or you'll be overloaded at the end. Take it from me!

I can't imagine a better teacher for this class. Professor Gibbons is so helpful and nice and really cares about her students. she gives great comments on your papers and she gives them back right away. you don't need to go to office hours because she makes a point to talk to you during lab. shes great - take her!

writing 098 was a good choice for me. The class was not hard and I really enjoyed having Mrs. Gibbons even at 8:00 in the morning. She is organized and smart and nice and funny and has lots of energy. I feel like I learned the things I didn't learn in high school. I liked her so much that I signed up for her for 150.

Prof Gib was awesome! I admit that I already liked to write, but she was so good at helping me to improve. She tells you all assignments on the first day and she is willing to read your papers many times. She doesn't give you busy work, and she tells you exactly what you need to get an A. Take her if you want a nice teacher who cares about you.

Professor Gibbons was my favorite prof this semester! She is laid back, organized, helpful, and funny. This isnt an easy class but she will help you and if you take her advice you will pass. She has taught this class many times and she knows what shes doing. She only assigns 3 papers and she lets you pick your own topic. Take Professor Gibbons!
