Very good professor, and an even better guy. The class is not easy, but he is very willing to help out in any way or to slow down and re-explain concepts. He really cares and wants his students to learn. If you must take this difficult class, take it with Campbell! And this is all coming from someone who does not like finance one bit...

Super nice guy but just does not cut it as a good professor. Lectures are incredibly boring with no engagement as he just reads off the slides and goes over confusing examples, doesn't do a good job of explaining concepts. Three exams, 6 quizzes (drops 2), clicker for attendance/participation.

Lectures consist of just going over the same slides he sends by email (he's stuck in the 90s , Sakai and Blackboard don't exist yet). The class is not hard, but the lectures bore you to death.

Reviews shouldn't revolve around what a great guy a professor may be. Grading curves are generous; he wants to see students succeed. Professor is complacent; as the head of the graduate finance program, is incongruous; ignoring requests suggestions to improve course.

By far the best professor at the school. Able to deliver difficult material in a clear, relevant and enjoyable manner. The lectures are fluid, the journey through the material appropriate and very willing to tailor material to current affairs if appropriate. At the end, you learn more and enjoy it more.

Campbell is likeable but not the best teacher. Teaches and answers at a manic pace. Class structured so you have no idea how you stand prior to midterm and final because prep question feedback (which exams are based on) occurs to close to the midterm and final. Will not answer or provides scant answers regarding prep questions prior to due date.

Course material is very hard but Terry tries to make it as easy as he possibly can. Class consists of 4 non cumulative exams, all of which are fair if you study his powerpoints. Terry is a great guy and you will want to go to class, I wish all my professors were like him.
