Theory of Computation. Hardest class I've taken in CS by far. His homeworks are grueling but by starting early, struggling through them, and asking him and my fellow students questions as I went, I feel my ability to analyze difficult problems and prove my results mathematically has been increased 10 fold. Work hard and your grade will reflect it.

His grad-level classes are challenging to say the least. The fact that the guy is bright and a hard-worker is apparent, but he leaves a lot of things out in the lectures that leave you scratching your head come homework/exam time. Funny enough, I came away liking him.

Overall, a great prof. You will learn more than you ever thought was possible. Homework and exams can be intimidating but don't worry, he knows this as well. Willing to work with you as long as you are putting forth an effort yourself. One description about his classes I will never forget: He made my brain hurt.

I actually had Dr. Bui years ago, and he was my second favorite prof (Dr. Null was my first). I agree that he made previously impossible subjects possible to understand. As far as why he's here at PSH, he has family in Hershey. (I say just count your blessings that he's here! Don't worry about why!)

What exactly is an MIT Ph.D doing on this campus ? Great professor in all aspects however seems to be a waste of talents spending at PSU HBG, not ambitious enough ? One heavy minus point is he does too many things by himself, including things that should be left for secretary or someone else.
