He's a very good professor with a superior teaching structure. However, this is the hardest class I have ever taken in my entire life. Be prepared to dedicate your life to this class. There is so much material so I don't recommend skipping a single day.

Most consider him a hard teacher, but really if you pay attention and study outside of class (a lot) you'll do fine. There is a lot of material but overall I enjoyed his class. And he throws out as many additional points as he can.

Rachow is the sweetest, most caring professor I've had during my time at Missouri Western. He forms a personal connection with most students. His class is very interactive and interests most students who are WILLING. This is a difficult course and he will push you. It requires many hours out of class studying.

Make sure you are in class every day. He is big on you knowing the material. If you do not know the material it really shows on the testes. His tests are tough, but spend time and learn the material and you will be okay. The notes from the MWSU bookstore are a must to have as this will be your "bible" or "saving grace" in this class!

Rachow is a VERY good teacher, A&P is just a very tough class. To pass this class you almost have to attend the SI's offered. They are so helpful, and you will be glad you did them. Try and take Rachow's lab if you can.

Rachow is an AMAZING AMAZING techer, however his class is TOUGH! You have literally eat , sleep , dream , live this class.. It's soooo much material that he goes through its very overwhelming and you can easily get lost in all of it especially if you have other hard classes! FYI STUDYx10 never feel too comfortable with the material..

Rachow! Great teacher ..You HAVE TOO STUDY! No way around it. lecture exams are worth more points they boost up or knock down you grade the fastest.. however lab is important b/c you have to pass it in order to pass the entire class. Study hard the first time around.. some take the class 3 times or more!

Rachow is a great teacher. The material is intense. There's a lot to cover and not a lot of time. He tells you everything you need to know/do/study. It's up to you to study if you want to pass. Make flashcards and only study the stuff he tells you to in lab, don't worry about the extras! Do the online assignments, they are helpful!

Loved this class! He expects a lot out of you, but if you are a nursing major--that's really a good thing. He expects you to spell everything right on your lab practicals, so be prepared. Overall, it was a tough but rewarding class. I feel that I am well prepared for my nursing major.

He is tough, but it's worth it. He is clear and lets you know exactly what he wants. It is hard subject matter though so bring your A game. Don't miss class you will fall behind. Test reflect lecture material but the book is a good supplement.

If you're a slacker, you will hate this class. If you work your butt off, you can get one of the few A's or B's. If you can't put forth the effort, give up on nursing. He's tough, but a good guy to those who are trying. You won't like him if your'e a slacker...

Very hard teacher, and looks at you like you are dumb if you ask a question. Open labs are very helpful for the lab tests, take advantage of those especially for the tutors. His test material doesn't seem to reflect alot of the lecture, and no matter how much you study, you will not be prepared. Be ready to make A&P your life!
