Yes, Dr. Cuff is one challenging professor. I have never studied so hard in my life. There are times when I wished I wasn't a history major because of his classes but, I can say after taking multiple classes with Dr. Cuff, I learn more in his classes than all of my others combined. If you are taking one of his classes, be ready to work!

I had Dr. Cuff for Inquiry for my first year. He was one of the hardest professors I have ever had at Westminster. However, he was also the best. I have learned so much from him and still stop by to visit him from time to time. He is very challenging and often makes you think out of the box. If you are up for a challenge--take him!!

Dr. Cuff is one of the most helpful prof's. I've ever had. When I didn't have a place to go for Thanksgiving, he invited me to dinner. When I had nowhere to keep my things on break, he offered his basement. Dr. Cuff really cares about people and after 4 years of being a student, he still says hi to me by my first name and asks how I'm doing.

Very nice guy but niceness doesn't cut it for teachers. He is very confusing. Nothing is clear. Everything is on a continuum. Thats crap. There is no difference between the enightenment and 19th c. historians. So don't make it up.

I get so disgusted during my class times with him. It seems that he can never make a point clearly or answer student's questions. Also, he assigns a lot of reading and rarely discusses it, thus wasting student's time. I came in loving history but now can't wait to be done with the class!

Impossible. That is all there is to say. I have heard of people saying that if you have different views than the professor, you will not succeed. He takes that to a new level. May be easier for class that is all facts, not quite sure though.
