Interesting but tough content (I'm not a science major). He asks a lot of us and requires very detailed work BUT he also is ready and willing to help with anything. He's responsive and actually cares about how we do. My only complaint is that in trying to not leave anything out, his syllabus and assignment explanations need to be more concise. Otherwise, a good DE prof that makes you work for your grade.

Currently in his online Science, Tech & Society class and it seems very straightforward so far. However, the prof seems very anal (will deduct marks if you forgot to underline or bold certain words, even if the content is all there). I'm working really hard,and the content is not difficult, but I can't see myself getting an A from this prof

Dr Sands made us work and some of us know the value of that. Others just want grades. I worked, understood and did well. He did a good job and was a good prof. What else could a student ask for?
