Dr. Tolin is literally the most genuine professor there is. He really tries to get to know everyone and will try to make you smile. Lets you know EXACTLY what you need to know for the exam. Anyone who says this class was hard either didn't go to class or didn't try at all. Just complete the study guide and review it a few times and you're golden

If you wan't to pass this class do not miss a single lecture and be sure to pay attention. Also, don't take his 8am class, because his lectures are boring and they'll make you want to fall asleep

Prof Tolin is a very solid professor. He really loves Econ and does a great job relating the topics to real life scenarios. He makes pretty lame jokes but in a funny way. He curved about every test which made getting an A achievable. Good guy, definitely would take again.

He is a very funny guy and I like the way he teaches. Although, his tests are very different from what he teaches in class. They are way more in depth and somehow you are expected to know the answers even when you have not been taught them or how to apply them. I like him but I find this class to be a struggle.

Tests are very difficult, he uses a lot of jargon that's hard to understand as just a first year business student. He's very knowledgeable but difficult to keep up with. There is no homework aside from a couple excel projects which makes tests kill your grade. Very difficult class if not familiar with economics.

Dr. Tolin is easily one of the best professors I have ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable and, if you are willing to put effort in, you will succeed while also learning a lot. He is always available to answer any questions during office hours, as well. His tests are very fair and if you pay attention in class, you will do well. TAKE HIM!!

He is a great professor. He seems to really care about his students. If you are not super strong in economics I suggest you take him. I will warn you he will make you work for a good grade but you will not find many professors who will teach you the material as well as he will. Those who have an interest in learning subject should jump to take him.

Tolin's number one goal in teaching is student success. He does everything that he can to make sure that students understand the material in preparation for the exams, and his dedication to this class really shows. No, this isn't the easiest class you will take, but I can guarantee that you will learn more from his class than most professors.

This is the second time I was forced into taken this professor. He is probably the hardest professor on campus to date. I have never had someone grade so harsh before. Paragraphs on paragraphs of explaining for every test and if you do not use his "lingo/ notation" you might as well accept nothing above a C-. Never take him

Tolin is one of the best professors I've had. He may seem tough at first but you soon realize that if you attend class and take good notes you'll do just fine. Also, he gives out study guides which are basically word for word the exam. He is very understanding and is more than willing to help if you don't understand something.

He's honestly one of the hardest teachers I've taken at West Chester so far. If you like econ (or have a background in it) then I would take him. But if you aren't strong in this field stay away.

He's a great econ teacher, he really knows what he is talking about. You don't have to go to class if you don't want to, he won't dock your grade. But, none of his notes are online and he covers a lot in one lecture I wouldn't recommend you doing that. Gives weekly vocab quizes which are easy if you make note cards.

This guy is obviously experienced and I always found his lectures more polished than some of my other teachers' that were taught with notes (he doesn't usually have notes). I visited him twice outside of class and he was more than helpful. He tells stories sometimes but is very conscious of time. Tests aren't too easy, need to study.

Prof. Tolin is a really nice guy always tries to throw some humor into class. His notes are always on point just don't skip class, he doesn't post online. Always gives a study guide &the tests are similar. Vocab quizzes each week are a good grade booster &help to memorize terms. He's always willing to help, hard subject but the class isn't bad

Professor Tolin is one of the best professor's I've had. Have to show up to class because he doesn't post lectures online. Grades include vocab quizzes, 2 excel projects and 3 tests w/ no cumulative final. Tests are based off of study guide he gives you and there are no trick questions. Go to his office hours and he is more than willing to help
