As a SOCI major Tony has been my professor for multiple classes, and he's an amazing professor. He remembers your name and takes time to talk to you. There is a lot of reading and the lectures are long, but he is so lenient and easy to talk to. In fact, he dropped an entire test off the syllabus once.

I took this class as a first year elective, Tony is really nice and tells you exactly what's going to be on the midterms (only 2) and very specific when it comes to questions. Pretty much required to go to class, the slides are no help unless you take notes and actually pay attention. Bright side: the final is only the last 13 of the class

Tony's a fantastic professor. You can tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and wants his students to do well in his classes. His lectures are clear and easy to follow. Very approachable prof and is easy to talk to inside or outside the classroom. Definitely recommend!

I've taken multiple classes with Tony because he is a fantastic prof and also a pretty hilarious guy. I really appreciate that he divides large classes up for discussion groups; show up, say a sentence or two and you are set. Tony is great.

I can honestly say Tony is one of the best prof's i have had here at Acadia. He is extremely funny, and makes class material easy to relate to. His classes are a little difficult but worth it because you learn so much. Overall loved his class, and highly recommend taking one :)

Tony is the best prof. at Acadia by far! He is very intelligent and makes his classes interesting, Even if the topic is boring he seems to make it so you actually want to go to his class! Tony Thompson has got to be one of the best proff's!! he is not boring to listen to he is funny, he is also really helpful if you have any questions or want a good mark on ur paper go see him and he will go over your paper and help you to do well!! he is a really good guy!
