Bad prof. Course is a joke, can be taught out of the 2 assigned manuals with same info as his powerpoints. There are many modules (hmwrk) for little grade value. Opinionated & defensive. If opposed hell target & punish you using your grade. Dont think the exams were marked. Old guy looking for an audience. Im a 3rd year rep coach. Outspoken beware

"My way or the highway" kind of prof. Many of my classmates and I found that he didn't mark the final exam. I got an A on the midterm, and like many others, received nearly perfect on the modules. Since its mostly memorization for his exams, we can all calculate how well we did (I did well). He wouldn't let us view the "marked" final when requested

wally is fair. he gives you hints on what will be on the exams. but coaching is ALL memorization and it is 100% fair. if you memorize the content, you'll get an A. if you don't.. you won't. simple. he's extremely passionate about york so rep york at all times. ask him for help if you need it, he remembers names and appreciates the effort.

This man is a terrible "senior lecturer" aka joke of a prof. He is rude, expects a lot for a second yr course. He took offense b/c this course was on the list of bird courses & made the course much harder than it needed to be. He wants the answers verbatim from the NCCP manual for midterms/final. Extremely hard marker but funny guy...overall avoid

Do not take his coaching class or his volleyball PKIN. This professor does not provide a positive learning environment and expects you to be a pro from day one (especially in his PKIN). I came into his volleyball with a strong background in the sport and i feel bad for anyone that is trying to learn the sport with him. His coaching couse is easy

This dude is the most terrible volleyball coach ever for the PKIN Volleyball I. He is super critical of everything and doesn`t stop embarassing everyone. Also favors the females. I was super enthused and excited about the game of volleyball and 2 days in his class and I hated the game of volleyball. I advise you take another pkin than this.

This guy is a joke. I have never met a more boring Prof at York in my life. Just finished coaching certificate course, and we are not even certified until we write an exam in 6 weeks. Bored to death everyone in the class with his boring 9 hour lecture, which was basically a review of everything I learned in the course. Never take this guy at EVER.

He is a very nice guy, but I would still avoid him as he has been doing this course for a very long time and as a result, he knows every micro detail and will test you on stuff you probably have not prepared for becuase they dont seem like major themes. Good lecturers for sure, they were interesting and all, but tests and paper were not well done.

Very enthusiastic & warm-hearted man...sometimes a little too much so...either way i enjoyed his first exam since i was able to clearly express answers (short answer exam) The coaching assessment project was interesting although not clear on what is expected as according to my mark "i didn't follow instructions!" this coaching course was very interesting with much more to learn than i originally thought. Study hard for those exams. The practice observation essay was my favourite (A+). He is a great coach and a better person. Get this man a cigar for his long hours!!
