Not a good professor. Very poor lecture skills. Quizzes don't have much to do with lecture. Lab sections are unnecessarily hard. He really did make a relatively easy class much more confusing and difficult than it should have been. Take someone else for chemistry if you can, don't take Orchard

He made a fairly easy class much more difficult. Lectures were average, labs were horrific and the quizzes had many poorly worded multiple choice questions that nobody got right. He was definately my worst chemistry teacher to date.

Picked apart lab reports for some, others he liked and let them off easy. Quizes always had one or two obscure questions only covered in a small portion of the book and never in class.

This teacher has very poor lecture to quiz skills. The homework assigned does not prepare you for the quiz,and is not a reasonable practice of the material covered in lecture. There is not any room on his quizzes to do your working which is the majority of the grade. The homework he assigns he does not grade, this shows me he does not care.

the only complaint i have about this teacher are the quizes! (which are bascially tests!!) no matter how long i would study or what i went over there was always one thing on the quiz that i never went over enough. he wants you to be able to remember everything, which makes a lot to study and if you miss one part you could completely bomb the quiz. sigh*** other than that he was a good teacher.

One of the most amazing teachers. The accent kept me awake because I love accents! Lots of difficult subject matter (it is chem after all...) but will take all the time it needs to help you out. That's a real teacher.

really nice guy, warm-hearted, funny, and i love his english accent! also, good at explaining difficult concepts. class is somewhat difficult, though manageable, but you only need 85% for an A and you can drop one quiz.
