Honestly, He is my favorite teacher. He's honest, funny, and knows how to teach. He isn't difficult at all! highly recommend if you are not a strong writer like myself.

I've taken two classes with him. If not enough people show, he'll cancel class which can get annoying. The syllabus always changes (to less work). He is amazingly smart and loves his work and wants passionate class discussions, but it doesn't happen. He ends up reading poems line by line in class and then ending. About 2 papers each class-that's it

He's a really nice guy and he's really interested in what his students think and he doesn't believe in busy work and he doesn't make us show up to class or do the work-- if we show up, that's great and if we turn in our work, then, congratulations to us, because we get good grades, but he knows we're in college now and he really treats us as adults

His class started off slow, but when the year started, his class became one of my favorites. He is a pretty funny guy, and he doesn't give tests in IDS. Discussions are usually fun and involved. If you have the chance, take a class that he teaches because it doesn't feel like a college class. You can actually relax and learn in his class.

This guy is amazing. He is a standout in a college full of average teachers. So what if he "diverts" if you listen to what he has to say then you can learn a great deal. Maybe his style isn't for everyone but he is by far the best teacher i have ever had.

Diverts a lot. He spends a great deal of time talking about things that have absolutely nothing to do with the class. I believe while we were reading The Aeneid, we discussed the presidential debates. WTF does that have to with the book? Thank you! I haven't gotten my midterm yet, better be an A!
