Do not take him if you do not understand algebra at all. He will not slow down for you and will expect you to have learned most of it in high school. He will take off many points on pop quizzes if you do not show the work how he teaches you to do it. He makes many mistakes while teaching that students have to correct him at times.

He is alright. His tests were mostly over the review, so they're not all that hard. He is pretty scatterbrained and when he works a problem on the board, students would often times correct him. He is nice, but not the best professor I ever had. If you don't have a major with a lot of math, he's fine. He gives extra credit to 100% attendance.

He cant teach for crap, he cant teach ....... he cant teach its simple as that, dude is just too old. I would say if you hate fast-tangent teaching then save youself some time and if you have to take him like I had too for cal 1 then just start praying early.

Alright i'm going to be plain and simple with you, this fool can't teach. He stands in front of the board where he is writing, mumbles some crap to himself, and turns around and asks, "well class, do you understand?" NO! WE DON'T UNDERSTAND. He also jumps around between content and goes over things that are not on the test. Don't take this fool.

Mr. Duncan is a very nice elderly gentleman; however, his teaching skills are quite terrible. He rarely explains the lessons and does not give out homework. Yeah sounds good right?! Well come test time, you are not prepared and have little chance of passing the test. My class started with 25 students and ended up with 12. Great guy, bad teacher.

Not a great teacher at all. He's very smart and knows what he's talking about, but so scattered with his teaching. He goes on tangents A LOT. If you're good with math, and can keep with a fast pace, you'll have no problem. Other than that, he will not be the teacher for you.

Took him for Cal 1.. easy class but he doesn't really teach extremely well.. just sits in his chair with his feet on the desk and talks.. does go off topic sometimes. Lots of work in teams on the board which is helpful.

I'm not great at math and got a B but I had to do it on my own. The professor doesn't explain the material well. Also I couldn't read any of his writing and he won't redo or he'll get mad if you ask. I would suggest a different professor, not his brother or go to the math lab if you have him

He's a nice guy but hard to follow at times. You have to pay close attention and I recommend taking this class with a friend so ya'll can study together. I did and it helped a ton! He assigns homework but you don't have to do it. Be prepared for his tests though!

This teacher is wonderful.I toook him for College Algerbra in a minimester and he made is very easy!I am so horrible in Math I made a B+ I was 1 point shy of an A. His test reviews are identical to the tests just different number!! VERY EASY teacher!!!!!!!!

i loved mr. duncan. yes, the class was difficult and yes, i had to study a lot to pass college algebra (math doesn't come easily for me) ... but, he was willing to help and always willing to work a million problems with you until you understood it. never too busy for the students=great teacher. all you have to do is be willing to actually work and ask for help if you need it.

Very nice guy. Willing to help anyone, you just gotta step up to the plate and ask for the help. He's a teacher, not a psychic. Tests were very easy as all the questions came from his reviews. I highly recommend.
