Very detail oriented. Very, very smart guy. Warning: if you don't study, you won't do well. Participate and say marginally smart things, he'll like you. A very quirky sense of humor, but contrary to popular belief, he does have one! If you need help, just ask, but have specific questions and be prepared to spend a chunk of time in his office.

Best teacher at QU. Very tough, but teaches well! Wealth of knowledge. Born to teach history. Classes are lecture, discussion, and student presentation. Papers are graded harshly, but he makes you a better writer. No nonsense in class; strict! You must go above to receive an A. Most difficult Hist teacher and top 5 most difficult teachers at QU.

Essay tests. That's the worst bit of his class. We had essay tests but he had certain points that he wanted in each essay and if you made different albeit relevant points, they didn't really count. Very difficult class. Detail oriented teacher.
