Took 3 classes with Wendy. Best prof I've ever had. Classes are required, but very funny and you will make friends. HW isn't very hard, must read 2 books. Tests are fairly straight forward, grades fairly. She is the sweetest lady ever and is so passionate about everything. LOTS OF EXTRA CREDIT! You need to take her class, easy B, work for an A.

Givoglu is amazing!! Very clear on what she expects.. took her for 20th century.. a few papers, and one presentaion. Plays review game before tests. Nice lady and a fun interesting class!!

you learn a lot and class is really fun. you have about 4 papers due, but one is optional. offers a lot of extra credit points, and allows some late work if you talk to her. she's very nice and doesn't mind if you ask her questions. definitely take her. :D

She is such a nice teacher. She tries to make class really fun, sometimes she talks a little too much but it's not annoying. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. She does a jeopordy before every exam even the final, I didn't study once and just by paying attention during 30 min jeopordy I got an A. Take her, she makes learning fun.

I loved this class and this teacher.She is pretty laid back about assignments to an extent,she won't baby you.Made the class interesting and made sure to show us how it is useful for us to learn.Gave us extra credit for bringing in our own art work.Just make sure you are there for the reviews and study a little and tests are a breeze.

Amazing teacher had me at hello! haha. Actually, she is a very intelligent woman and doesnt not expect you to know all the silly dates which usually gets most people caught up and concerned. She is very knowledgeable and funny, completely down to earth and she really does do a lot to help her students. I recommend this class to everyone

At 1st this class seems like it would be a bunch of boring 20th century stuff, but Wendy has created a wonderful burst of knowledge that is rather enjoyable to learn. She is very helpful-all you have to do is ask. Just do the assignments on time & there's no doubt that you won't succeed. She also gives plenty of extra credit. Take her, she's great!

Wendy is great. She creates a fun environment. She provides you with everything you need-it's easy. you will do 2(short)novel learning logs, 1 film critique, attend 1 event and(critique it). She reviews thoroughly before tests--if you pay attention you will pass without studying. I found it fun and interesting--highly recommend her--fav teacher!

I took this professor a couple years ago for 2 classes and she was just really, really great! She makes the material fun and super interesting. Make sure you get the book, keep up with the material, and start early on your project. It's just really easy to get an A. When I took her classes she wasn't married, so CONGRATS!!

Wow, mrs. Givoglu has definitely become one of my favorite professors, shes fun, intelligent and she treats everyone with equal attention and respect. i think EVERYONE got an A in my class. It was actually interesting material. . it seems like she loves her job & shes funny! i recommend her 100%
