Comment:
Conner was extremely rude to students who are in this class to LEARN. If we already knew everything there is to know about ChE then we wouldn't be in this class. It was horrible to give presentations, and everyone was discouraged from asking him questions simply because he would shame/call us stupid for not understanding a concept. Nightmare.

Comment:
So, yes, mostly everyone is sore about this guy. He seems to favor females, which is convenient, for females. There is debate about whether this happens because he does not want to hurt feelings or because he doesn't actually believe it's worth criticizing them due to lack of faith/respect. To them, he's extremely friendly and helpful though.

He should go back to his home, get retired and never show up in the university. He has a heavy hearing problem and does not know how to show respect to other people. He tends to shout at you during the presentation. A really bad professor!

Comment:
Prof. Conner often asks irrelevant or unclear questions and expects you to understand him perfectly. He sleeps through presentations, but expects students to behave professionally. The class is also poorly organized, with relevant info sometimes not being provided until 24 hrs before presentations. Occasionally, but rarely, says something useful.

I am literally watching him sleep through a student's presentation as I am typing this. I think that says it all.

Conner is one of the worst professor in the world. He makes your life so stressful and hard. He is always demanding, lacks personal hygiene, unfair grader and very rude to students and other faculty members. If you put effort and time to get an A and even you get an A in your paper;he will still give you an average grade.Heard roberts are better choi

Comment:
Conner is demanding and has high expectations. Do NOT expect to show up and coast through this class. Conner knows exactly what he wants for each experiment and asks very in-depth questions that emphasize what you're missing or don't know. He can be helpful; bring Conner ideas and he'll help you develop them for your experiment or presentations.

Comment:
Prof. Conner is a terrible instructor, he is unhelpful and completely unfair in his grading and expectations of his students. It is hard to make sense of his instructions and he has assigned mountains of work with only a day for us to do it. He seems well intentioned but he completely lacks common sense.

He is an unfair grader and makes TONS of mistakes on class notes. He plays favorites and if you go talk to him he will make you pass but not with a fair grade unless you're the teacher's pet. I just hope to get a fair grade next semester

He really knows his stuff, however he cannot connect any of it in a useful way. He should have retired by now. He reminds me of my senile grandmother and is very hard to follow in class.

This guy is a jerk and raving lunatic. He is consistently very unprofessional and lacking in personal hygiene, and should try to bring his curriculum up to -- at least -- the speed of the present decade. The old adage applies, "those who can do, those who can't teach." This guy is also -- flat out -- in dire need of a shower.

An down-to-earth professor who shows genuine concern for his students. Dedicated to see that all his students pass. His lectures may be somewhat confusing at times, but such is the general trend in chemical engineering.
