This is the perfect class to take for the foreign literature in translation requirement. Professor Lillyman offers really interesting analysis of the texts. He's a VERY fair grader, and the class requirements are really moderate: one 8-10 page paper, one final, and very little reading. He's a great lecturer and makes the class really fun.

Nice guy, funny, interesting, and entertaining. The reading is not too heavy at all, but my assignments were graded by TA's so make sure you visit them prior to writing to see what they want.

This class has been fun! I haven't gotten my grade yet but so far it's been a really interesting and fun class. The class is divided 50/50 which means there is one essay (about 8-10pages) and one final-really taught me a lot about fairytales-you'll have a blast!!!!

Go to lecture, takes notes, study notes. You'll do fine w/ at least a B or an A. Interesting material. Pretty lenient in grading essays. Helpful nice TAs too.

Got a new perspective on fairytales I never had. This class is really interesting. Based on one final and one paper, readings are REALLY light. Good times.
