This man is very opinionated. And his opions are strewed. His classes are total bs, and he likes to make fun of certain individuals when he has no room to talk...just look at the man. He doesn't use constructive criticism he uses verbal abuse, and makes you look like a dumbass in front of the class. His assignments are vauge. AVOID!!!!!!

I saw Dr. Owen when I was thinking about leaving the computer field. He talked me out of switching majors. He’s an absolutely a great man. Class was real easy, pay attention and take notes. Those that don't like him are probably the folks that sit in the back of the class and sleep or don't bother showing up for class at all.

Knowledge of computers is very limited. Thinks MAC address filtering will keep him safe and TrueCrypt (256-bit AES encryption, Whirlpool Hash, Keyfile, and strong password) can't keep personal data safe. It's sad when a lower-level IT student can run circles around a "professor".
