First, his course is not really difficult. He will try to ensure everyone figure out his lecture. However, his lecture notes are really long, which copy from wikipedia or textbooks. Some knowledge he didn't teach you will be test on exams. You have to read his lecture notes carefully if you wanna pass.

Comment:

Amazing professor, his teaching is world class and he knows everything about Cisco technologies. Makes lectures worth it and is a very straight-forward person, no surprises. It's too bad he's primarily a programming professor. Thank you Zhenzhou!

Comment:

Stay away from his class if you can. Currently studying for an exam that will most likely have material that wasn't taught in class (he's done this for previous tests), and answers no questions about the course without checking online. Or simply tells you to go google the question. His english is very broken and unclear. Overall, an awful teacher.

Zhenzhou Qin taught me a networking class and he thoroughly explained the OSI model (and TCP/IP stack) until it sank in. He tries very hard to help his students understand the course material and his tests are very fair. If you work hard and participate during lectures, he will get an A.

He seems like a nice guy, but his tests (which are all in class but online) are very random. Stuff he tells you to study is not on them, other stuff is. He will also randomly take marks off for not explaining answers exactly how he did in the class. I would not recommend taking his class if you have a choice.

Nice guy, hard to understand sometimes but he WILL clarify if you just ask him. Hands out marks if you know your stuff, easy marker. Don't switch profs if you see him on your table, he's not bad and will go out of his way to help you in class.
